Job Summary/Purpose: The Web Content Producer – Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Analyst reports to the Director, Digital Strategy and Web Resource and is part of the Information Solutions department. This Analyst ensures all websites have been optimized to attract and engage customers/patients; works with centralized digital web team and key content customers to drive SEO in content creation and content programming. Responsible for planning, implementing and managing overall enterprise SEO strategy to support MUSC’s healthcare, academic, and research mission. This role will research, analyze and report on competitive strategies, staying up to date on SEO & digital marketing best practices/trends and translate these findings for business adoption; developing & recommending plans to drive continuous SEO improvement.   In addition, this role will be accountable for web content creation and editing of sections of MUSC’s web domain.

Minimum Training and Education: Bachelor’s degree and five years of professional work experience with web databases. Deep understanding of web analytics, with proven ability to generate web analytics reports and consult on web analytics at multiple levels within the organization. Knowledge of web production technology, web accessibility standards, usability best practices, and strong attention to detail required. Knowledge of SEO best practices, including site performance implications. Familiarity with cross browser functional disparities and remediation steps. Experience with Google Webmaster Tools. Demonstrated project/task management, attention to details, and solid organizing/prioritization skills. Demonstrated experience in building in CMS sites (WordPress, Site Executive, Sitecore). Familiarity of Analytics Platforms (Google Analytics or other), certification in GA a plus.  Ability to create clear analytics reports, along with impactful persuasive recommendations while meeting deadlines. Ability to manage multiple clients and projects while not compromising quality
