Job Summary:

The Social Media Strategist will work with the marketing team to build Erlanger’s digital marketing via new and developing web properties. Plan and execute ROI-positive content programs to scale. Manage an editorial calendar based on strategic goals, business priorities, service launches and other events. Partner with the Erlanger PR, Development and Marketing teams as needed to drive success. Understand the dynamics of the digital marketing ecosystem and extract key trends and topics. Reports to the Director of Marketing.

Education:

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Journalism, Communications, Computer Science or equivalent professional qualification.

Preferred: 

Experience:

Required: 5-8 years experience in supporting a consumer facing website and digital channels

Preferred: Relevant healthcare knowledge.

Department Position Summary:

The Social Media Strategist should be highly skilled in understanding, developing and writing to key audiences for the purpose of engaging, informing, persuading and retaining consumers. Be well-versed in inbound marketing strategies. This position will evaluate and identify customer segments. Determine opportunities within search, social and other channels. Mange the content strategy, as well as editorial, SEO, design and copywriting functions. Manage the editorial calendar based on strategic goals, business priorities, service launches and other events. Operate at both the strategic and tactical levels. Translate brand personality and product capabilities into content assets. Reports to the Director of Marketing.
