TPN is looking for a candidate who is seeking an opportunity to work with the Senior Director of Media and Activation to grow our social marketing practice. We are seeking a Social Marketing Director who is excited about educating and building processes and knowledge both internally and externally. This person must be able to work independently and have a desire to build, educate and grow.

Core Accountabilities

  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge of the social marketing and media landscape including major platform (facebook, instagram, pinterest, twitter) best practice in terms of rules, moderation, content, paid media and consumer engagement
  • Delivers social marketing solutions that are both grounded in strategy and show an in-depth knowledge of the clients business
  • Exhibits a deep understanding of strategic development, merchandising and management on major social platforms
  • Understands emerging platforms and new offerings of all of the platforms and understands the nuanced differences of each channel and how they work together
  • Educates colleagues both internally and externally on the social landscape, processes and social strategies
  • Understands the latest in social commerce and designs on-platform merchandising efforts meant to drive brand awareness and conversion
  • Partners with both planning for insights and research as well with creative to deliver on concept
  • Provides marketplace expertise and education to the agency and clients
  • Ability to manage a team

Core Skills

  • Adept in all aspects of media planning including channel planning against the entire digital landscape, media planning and buying/negotiations and implementation
  • Experience in media analytics; ideally experience in connecting media to the sales
  • Experience working on managing brands on major social media platforms
  • Understanding of social influencer programs
  • Experience with social listening tools and developing insights based on findings
  • Understands target segments and how to plan social engagement based on specific behaviors

  • Years Experience: 5+ years experience in social marketing managing major brands on social platforms and developing cohesive social strategies
  • Previous experience in retail marketing preferred
  • Previous experience strongly preferred
  • Education: Four-Year Degree in communication, marketing or related field
  • Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
  • Travel: Based on the requirements and location of the account being serviced
