The Hawai‘i Pacific Health Marketing team is a dynamic group of people who are committed to growing the organization’s brand in the community. The team provides strategic organizational exposure through marketing, public relations, advertising, special events, and web and social media. The department works closely with clinic physicians, administrators, hospitals and clinic leadership to accomplish its goals. It also coordinates hospital involvement in community events and spearheads other initiatives that build the organization’s public image.
The Marketing Coordinator – Social Media will be responsible for the daily planning, content development, monitoring, and reporting and analysis functions related to social media for Hawai‘i Pacific Health and the individual hospitals with an overall goal of increasing brand visibility, engagement and growth. This will include the design, creation and management of social media promotions and ad campaigns, and assistance with the creation and execution of social media tactics for integrated marketing campaigns for Hawai‘i Pacific Health and the individual hospitals. This person also will assist with content strategy and development, including creating informative and engaging content for a variety of mediums. The ideal candidate must have excellent writing, editing and client relations skills, and knowledge of social media strategy, platforms and technology, including direct experience with a variety of social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) as well as social media scheduling programs. We are seeking someone who is assertive and highly productive to find stories within our facilities and develop those stories for distribution through social media and other channels in order to educate, inform and engage target audiences.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Health Care Administration, or other related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or related work experience. Two (2) years of experience in direct sales or marketing. Demonstrated proficient skills in public relations, marketing, and/or development fundraising experience. Valid driver’s license and abstract. Current Hawai‘i auto insurance.
Preferred Qualifications: Campaign communications for hospitals and/or a nonprofit institution. Public relations and/or marketing experience.
