  • Produce and manage Drop of Inspiration, Young Living’s weekly podcast, in a manner consistent with the tone, voice, and positioning of the company
  • Work closely with the owners and editors in producing and advancing marketing initiatives that will drive enthusiasm and knowledge among U.S. and international members
  • Work closely with internal parties, Young Living members, community members, and others to develop innovative strategies and in-depth concepts for Drop of Inspiration that illuminate the company’s strengths, values, and uniqueness
  • Write copy to support Drop of Inspiration postings and marketing
  • Create content and liaise with outside vendors to establish, create, and promote additional content initiatives
  • Write general marketing copy for company events, initiatives, products, promotions, and other copy as needed.
  • Make copy and design requests, archive content, liaise with internal and external parties, maintain and update schedules, research, and other responsibilities as needed
  • Travel to Young Living events as needed to collect content for Drop of Inspiration
  • Track metrics to determine the success of Drop of Inspiration—both for individual episodes and for the program as a whole
  • Create appealing, informative, on-brand infographics and other designed pieces as needed
  • Position may involve other duties as assigned

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Produce, manage, and continue to refine Drop of Inspiration. Drop of Inspiration should help to advance objectives of the company using a consistent, positive tone and lifestyle-oriented concepts.
  • Make copy and design requests, archive content, liaise with internal and external parties, maintain and update schedules, research, and other responsibilities as needed
  • Research and create high-quality audio recordings highlighting the Young Living lifestyle, as well as products, events, members, and the latest company news and updates
  • Conduct and record compelling, personable, insightful interviews with Young Living figures and influencers
  • Edit audio files with Adobe Audition and/or Premier
  • Post finished audio recordings and supportive copy using WordPress
  • Work closely with the Creative Services team to develop high-quality images that enhance and promote Young Living’s corporate messaging
  • Adhere to brand style guides for both copy and design to produce cohesive, appealing pieces for the overall Young Living brand
  • Periodic travel may be required
  • Constantly seek opportunities to improve the quality and international consistency of Drop of Inspiration; collaborate with Marketing Communications team and Creative Services team to evolve the look, feel, and voice of these outlets
  • Consistently meet production deadlines while maintaining the ability to willingly accept change in direction and instruction
  • Must be able to work effectively and establish rapport with company leadership and successful member-leaders
  • Regularly update supervisors and stakeholders on status of Drop of Inspiration episodes; high level of communication is crucial
  • Communicate with international offices as needed
  • Communicate with international offices to obtain information for stories about their areas and members in their markets
  • Serve as an overflow copywriter to craft marketing copy promoting Young Living events, products, promotions, initiatives, and policies as needed


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Superb interviewing, strategizing, and written communications skills, with the ability to create content with a professional, persuasive tone and to adapt messaging for the intended audience
  • An excellent grasp of the fundamentals of the English language, with the ability to self-edit and refine copy to meet Young Living’s standards of quality
  • Strong proficiency in the Adobe CC Creative Suite, including Audition and/or Premiere, as well as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Strong proficiency in audio recording and editing
  • Strong interviewing skills
  • Some photography skills a plus
  • A strong understanding of marketing, communications, and the network marketing industry
  • Excellent and proven people and project management abilities, with a proven record of meeting deadlines and self-motivation
  • Willingness and ability to occasionally travel

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university; or 2–4 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
